Welcome! We Are The Changing Voice Collective,
a group of trans voice professionals in the Twin Cities.

Committed to helping fellow trans+ and non-binary folks use their voices in the ways that bring them the most joy, we teach from perspectives of lived experience, study, and care to offer individualized voice coaching and singing lessons in the Minneapolis/St.Paul metro area.

Who We Are

Devin Dolquist (he/him)

Devin is a trans man who navigated an HRT-induced voice change from alto to baritone. While Devin comes from a speech pathology background and has done gender-affirming voice care in a speech therapy context, he found it too restrictive and pathologizing and is excited to offer speaking and singing education at CVC in a new, more exploratory format. You can find Devin performing in choirs and musicals around the Twin Cities.

Klo Vivienne Garoute (she/her)

Klo is a vocalist, choral conductor, and songwriter who transitioned from singing bass to mezzo-soprano. She combines extensive study in voice science and pedagogy with her own lived experience as a trans woman and performing singer to equip others with knowledge and confidence to guide their voices to be as they want them to be.

Trevor Lemon-Todd (they/them)

Trevor is a singer, actor, and educator who believes that we sing our best when we are at our most authentic and free. As a performer, Trevor's recent credits include stints with Minnesota Opera, Theater Latté Da, and Guthrie Theater. Trevor asserts that each of us has a beautiful sound to share with the world that can be uncovered with a healthy and repeatable process.
